Love Is Knocking, Would You Open Up?

Jesus wants you to come to a personal realization of how much it is that He loves you. Even though we cannot quantify His love for us, we can always look to the cross!

Earlier this week, it was established in our message that in as much as Jesus wants to get personal and intimate with us, He definitely will not force His way into our hearts. Why? Because of Who He is, Love. and what He has said. His Word.

Now, let’s take a word from John Chapter 10.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.  2 But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.”  John 10:1-2

Jesus want to be your shepherd but will not scheme His way through cunning means, only through the door of love.

Therefore, as He stands at the door of your heart knocking, if you will open up to him, you will enjoy the sweetness of intimacy with him.

He wants to be your shepherd, so to direct you in the way of truth. He wants to keep you out of the dangers of this world and ultimately He wants you to have life and have it more abundantly.

This is why He is knocking. Open up and enjoy life everlasting who is in the Person of Jesus Christ.

Do not go through this year as you did last year, there is more for you in Jesus.

There is definitely more, step into the unknown with Him who knows it all and you shall have no cause to worry.

May we receive grace to walk closely with God this year and beyond in Jesus name.

  1. Beautifully said. Last year was one of the most difficult. Oddly enough it made me seek the Lord fervently. This year things have calm down, and I still have struggles. But I’m loving the process, and how God transforms everything His way, which is the right way, not ours. Great post!
