Today’s Fragrance: The Highest Call

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. These things I command you, that you love one another. (John 15:16-17)

Imagine a very influential man in the world. No, let me just limit it to your country. Let’s say by some means he hears of you and chooses you as a part of his team for a special task. Even if you don’t receive monetary payment, the honor, association and exposure alone that comes with such a call pays much more.

And so, no matter what you are involved in, no matter what your schedule is, no matter what you have on your priority list you push it all aside for this is a high call! In fact you clear that list and put only this appointment on it.

If a call from a man can cause us to respond in such a manner, how much more the highest call!! The One who has called us is no man!! He is without flaws, neither is He mortal. He is the creator! The all powerful, all sufficient, all knowing God!

People of God, what a privilege it is to be chosen!! He did not just choose us but along with the choosing came the equipping. He equipped us with everything we would ever need in Christ Jesus so that we can fully execute the task given us. Thus, to replicate His goodness, His kindness and Love as He has given unto us.

As we love one another regardless of social class, religion or color, people will begin to See and comprehend God’s love and accept it because they can relate through our engagements with them and for that matter, It will not be foreign to them as they see God(His abilities and qualities) being manifested in believers.

You are not inferior my dear friend, Being alive today is a big testimony. By grace you’ve been chosen for a purpose. Don’t be distracted by the happenings around you, you are more that what you see for great Is He who has called and commissioned you unto greatness.

Jesus Christ says as we remain in Him and give out exactly what we receive from Him. Nothing will be hidden from us. He will withhold nothing from us, for we would have access to all things in Him and in the name of Jesus whom we know because we are in Him, we will lay hold of every povision of God with our names on it.
