Today’s Fragrance: Unveiled

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. (2 Corinthians 3:18)

In the days of Moses, Sin covered the hearts of men and prevented them from enjoying sweet fellowship with God. Even when God wanted to be in their midst, they withdrew and did not want to behold His glory, For they feared death which is the wage of sin.

The heart of men was so dark and hardened that they could not even perceive how much God longed to be with them in constant fellowship. But the God who’s mercies endures forever, and loving kindness fails not anticipated this very need of man and made provision for it by Way of Jesus. So that by Him and through Him, man’s broken fellowship with God will be restored .

Anyone without Christ still lives in darkness, with a veiled heart unable to perceive. Only in Christ is this veil lifted forever. In Christ we are set free, yes! Whoever the Son sets free, is free indeed!

So when this happens, our fellowship is restored with God, no longer are we bound by the chains of sin, no longer are our hearts hardened. Our stone cold heart is exchanged for a heart like His, full of love, joy, peace… we will see by faith and hear not only with our ears but hearts with understanding.

And now we all as our fellowship with our father has been restored, we come to Him free of guilt of sin and look straight into His eyes ( through His Word) as in a mirror and behold His glory-looking to Him only are we transformed to be like Him unlike previously when we looked at the devil and were being transformed into His likeness by sinking and wallowing deep down in sin.

The amazing thing is that it is a daily affair- everyday as we look to Him in the mirror of His Word, He makes Himself real unto us as gradually, we become the beautiful image we behold in the mirror of His Word.

So now you also become a mirror and as others look through you, they see the Christ in you, the hope of glory!

Hallelujah!
