Today’s Fragrance: Shield Of Faith

Psalm 3:3; 91:4b; 1John 5:4; Ephesians 6:13-17
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). In other words, faith substantiates the unseen realities.
“Above all, taking the shield of faith…” Without faith it is impossible to please God. Our walk in Christ is primarily one of faith; salvation, health and wholeness, prosperity and all prayer is based on faith.
There are Christians who know the truth, they know they are the righteousness of God in Christ and have the peace but worry about faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of Christ. It is the anointed Word that builds our faith. Faith is built in us when we constantly feed on the Word of God and messages regarding the finished work of Jesus.
Regardless of the size of faith you have, it is the above all. Without it truth cannot be manifested for truth must produce that faith in you.
Every warrior knows the relevance of the shield. Without it you are vulnerable to various forms of attack and with it we quench the fiery darts of the enemy. We shield of any condemnation, accusations, sickness, failures, poverty and every other darts of the wicked for, “the rod of the wicked does not rest upon the lot of the righteous” (Psalm 125:3). Knowing this is not enough; one must confess and stand upon it in every warfare to stop the darts of the enemy.
Beloved, “Whatsoever, is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world even our faith” (1 John 5:4)
Prayer: Dear Father, I thank you for your truth that builds faith in me to stop the enemy at the gates. I pray that you inundate me with your truth by the power of the Holy Spirit to stand and be who you have made me to be in Jesus’ name. Amen.
