Scriptures: Romans 5:17; Ephesians 1:21-23
“And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”
It is mind blowing to know that the fullness of God that fills the expanse of the universe dwells in Jesus fully and bodily, and He (Jesus) in us, with every enemy under our feet.
It is God’s intention to re-illustrate who this Jesus is on a daily consistent basis through us believers that carry His Word, presence and fullness. We ought to leak Christ at every setting—in love…every action and reaction.
Here is our example: The central theme of the book of Revelations is the Lamb of God upon the throne. Every other entity hangs around Him. It is the throne life whose decrees we exhibit on earth so that the apostolic prayer, “as it is in Heaven” will be manifested through redeemed believers.
The redeemed mind ripples off the central thing – what did Jesus accomplish for us? Take the biggest problem you face and put it before the Lamb of God. He defeated every enemy not just for you but as you. Not only did He defeat it, He also humiliated it and put it all under the feet of redeemed people.
Most Christians starve to death because they do not know what they have access to.
Now, reigning in life does not mean people will bow to you. It means there is nothing in life that comes against you that you do not have authority over. Nothing!
The redeemed mind considers reality from what Christ has accomplished. This, beloved, is the normal life for the believer. It is not self-will but the mind that encounters God gets renewed into the right thinking hence set your minds on things above only (Col. 3:1-3).
