Scripture reference: Luke 21:15
We have learnt that God’s Word is capable of making us wise unto salvation though faith in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 3:15).
The word used as salvation here is the Greek, ‘soteria’ which means a rescue or safety (physically or morally). Therefore, we know that this is different from being saved from sin which is ‘sozo’.
This salvation here means being delivered from trouble (physically) or from philosophies that try to contradict or confuse you of your faith (in this message’s context). And only God can do that.
We learnt that Christ is made unto us wisdom and He lives in us, therefore as we feed daily on the Word and tap into the wisdom of it, we know more of Jesus by the help of the Holy Spirit and when we speak also “we speak wisdom among them that are matured…the wisdom of God…which the Holy Ghost teaches” (1 Corinthians 2:6, 7, 13).
I realised that as I study God’s Word daily answers to life’s questions come effortlessly by the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit’s help we cannot speak wisdom and without the Word in us, He cannot help us because He takes of Jesus (the Word) and makes it lucid unto us. That is how we have wisdom none can contend.
I pray, dear friend, in the name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit, that you study the Word and fellowship with the Holy Ghost to catch the wisdom which no one can contend.
