Today’s Fragrance : Seasons

He shall be like a tree. Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. Psalms 1:3

One of the ways to live a prosperous life is being conscious of seasons as well as learning to do things in their season. In the context of our message today a “season” is defined as a period of time that is favourable to do something.

One who takes advantage of seasons lays hold of blessings in its time. Failing to do this is detrimental to one’s growth and success because once the season passes, it might be gone for good.
To be prosperous, learn to identify seasons, and in so doing it will enable you to know when to sow what type of seed and when not to.
So my dear friend when it’s time to concentrate on a thing, focus and do it, do it and do it excellently well. Who knows it might be the only time to get it done right to yield maximum benefits. Chances are that the season might never come again to you.

We as Christians have been placed at an advantaged position that is in Christ. And as we remain in Him our steps are ordered and guarded by Him.

Christ is our “rivers of water” so long as we are planted by this river, it doesn’t matter if we are in the dry or wet season, conditions will always be favorable for us to be productive!

Because we have a right standing we will bring forth our fruits in its season irrespective of what’s happening around us because that is the appointed time.

When things are done out of season, they might not be successful and even if they do it will be a period of struggle to achieve the unachievable.

God expects His children to be able to discern times and seasons to make wise and guided decisions. For that matter, we need to stay connected to the Spirit of God so as to hear when we are being communicates to.
