“If you are WILLING and OBEDIENT, You shall eat the good of the land” Isaiah 1:19
Clearly these two things are key elements when it comes to receiving blessings from God.
Willingness and Obedience.
Obedience may be decribed as the act of submitting one’s self to the commands or authority of another. It goes beyond just hearing or listening to what you are told to do, but doing what you are told to do. Willingness on the other hand is what pushes you to be obedient and to do as you are told.
If we are willing to obey the statutes and command of our God, then we shall enjoy the fruit of the land. He will cause His blessings to overflow in our lives. The reality is that many are expectant of blessings but are not willing to be obedient.
“Be careful to obey all the commands I am giving you today. Then you will live and multiply, and you will enter and occupy the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors” (Deut. 8:1, NLT).
Some blessings with our names on it have delayed in reaching us simply because we have not been obedient. These are kingdom principles and as a believers we must acknowledge it in order for us to receive anything from above.
We must trust and be willing to obey EVERYTHING even when it isn’t somewhat pleasant to us.
Wondering why? There is no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and willingly obey.
Remember to obey is better than to sacrifice. Be blessed!!!
