Who said He hasn’t heard your cry?

7 The LORD said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. 8 So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey–the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. 9 And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them. 10 So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.” Exodus 3:7-10 (NIV)

I may not know what you are going through this very moment but I know that nothing you are going through is greater or bigger than God. He is the Almighty God.

Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear. (Isaiah 59:1)

Whatever it is, know that God has heard your countless calls made to him and he is sending someone to rescue you.

It is realized that God came down to Moses in Exodus 3, this time around, Moses did not go to plead on behalf of the people. God descended his throne for the sake of His people because he could not stand them being abused, that was not his plan for them.

I am writing to tell you that, do not give up yet because God, your Father who knows and sees all things, the same God who said that the plans He has for you are those to prosper you is working on your behalf to send you into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey.

Right now all you have to do is rest in the faith you have in Him because God is sending your ‘Moses’ to come and lead you out of your misery, break you out of that prison you are in and wipe away the tears your pillow has been soaking for years.

Hold on just yet, be still, be a man and let Him be God.

God is concerned about you, if you doubt go back and check Luke 12:7. He says that the very hairs on your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

  2. You wrote this before my prayer time, this morning, and I am awed by how God is aware and sends answers through others even before the questions are asked. Thank you for being open to His inspiration. May you be blessed.
